Women in Direct Sales ~ 5 Books to Have
As you know, I just returned from a Leadership Conference in Newport Beach for Bamboopink. We learned from so many fantastic speakers about women in business for themselves. I love this quote, "If you wait for everything to be perfect, you will miss the perfect opportunity." So many creative women pass up great opportunities because they are not confident enough to take that "leap of faith". Sometimes, you have to just go for it! I really enjoyed listening to Carolyn Zainer, an interior designer by trade, as well as a fellow consultant for Bamboopink. Confident and enthusiastic are two adjectives that come to mind when I think of Carolyn ~ she and I hit it off immediately. Her wealth of knowledge in direct sales inspired me, and she also shared some wonderful books to learn even more. I ordered these for myself today.

Attitude: Thought for the Day
The longer we live, the more we realize the impact of ATTITUDE on life. ATTITUDE is more important than facts. It is more important than education, money, or successes. ATTITUDE is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. We have a choice everyday regarding the ATTITUDE we will embrace for that day. Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it.

The Hip Hop Crew - Jungle Boogie
The Hip Hop Crew - Jungle Boogie performed a dance workshop at the Village Dance Studio yesterday. My daughter took the class and I came to observe at the end.
These guys rock!!
I was so impressed and energized by them, that I am going to take a hip hop class starting this Wednesday. Yes, that is right.... I will have an update next week on how sore my muscles are.
