Top 5 List - Things I am Grateful For

I just read this "ever so happy" post over at my friend Nicole's blog, My Teacups in Peony. It inspired me to think about what I am grateful for. Also, my friend, Char over at Ramblins is doing a daily Gratitude post as well. It is important for me to constantly remind myself of the things I am grateful for. In this age we live in, it is too easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of "keeping up with the Joneses". If I concentrate on the "things I do have" rather than the "things I don't have", I am a much happier person.

Here is my Top 5 List - Things I am Grateful For
1. My loving family... including our cute "Ellie"
2. Being able to do what I love - Paint!!
3. Our wonderful home
4. Silly I know, but drinking my coffee and blogging with you guys!
5. My awesome girlfriends!

What are you grateful for?

Top 5 List - Thrillers

Today's Top 5 List is "Thrillers"
What makes us do Dare Devilish things? Is it the adrenaline rush we receive? Is it bragging rights? Is it another item on your Bucket List? Here are my "Top 5 most Thrill Seeking Adventures".

1. As previously noted in the Top 5 List - Vacation Spots - I rode in a glass bottom helicopter over the Iguazu Falls, in South America. What a Rush that was!
2. The Griffon - Busch Gardens, Williamsburg Virginia - a roller coaster that takes you up more than 200 feet in the air, only to take you 90 degrees straight down at racing speeds of 70 miles per hour! Okay, I checked that off my Bucket List, and will not be riding it again... Scary!
3. White Water Rafting in West Virginia down the Lower Gauley River... After I signed the waiver for my life, it was a spectacular ride!
4. The adrenaline rush from riding (not driving) on a motorcycle down Lombard Street in San Fransisco!
5. Taking a surfing lesson in rough waters at Nags head, NC. So fun!! Yes, that is me.

I want to know yours! What are your top 5 Thrillers?

Top 5 List - Vacation Spots

Today's Top 5 List is "Favorite Vacation Spots"
Where do you love to vacation? I want to know!! There are so many places that I wanted to put on this list... so picking only 5 was very difficult!
1 Arles, France is one of the most exciting little towns during the "Feria de Paques". Sitting in the Roman Arena, built around 1 .BC., watching a bullfight was so surreal. Also, the home of Van Gogh.

2. Nantucket - I lived on Nantucket for two summers, many years ago! I can still feel the cool breeze at night on Madaket beach, and the succulent taste of fresh lobster daily at the Lobster Trap restaurant, where I worked.

3. Iguazu Falls, South America - Iguazu Falls lies on the border between Argentina and Brazil. The Falls are a spectacular site to see. One of the most thrill seeking things I have done (but that will be another Top 5 List) is ride in a glass bottom helicopter over the falls, which are taller than Niagara Falls. Wow, that was unbelievable!

4. Anguilla, in the Caribbean, has the most beautiful crystal clear water I have ever seen! A favorite honeymoon spot is Cap Juluca. If you want to be pampered, check it out! The island has amazing restaurants as well.

5. London - is an all time favorite! My Mother and I took a trip to visit my sister, who was working at Pepe Jeans at the time. We had a blast shopping, touring, and catching a show!

Top 5 List - Funny People

Today's Top 5 List is "Funny People"
Have you ever been told that you are funny?
What does it mean to "be funny" anyway?
If you had a "Top 5 funniest actors" list, who would be on it?
So many come to mind, but I have narrowed it down. I seriously wish I could follow each of them around for a day! Do you think they are this funny in "real life"? I do.

1. Steve Carrell - I really DO think he is funny in person.
2. Ricky Gervais - the Original "Office" - I love how he never finishes his sentences.
3. Chevy Chase - I can recite all the names in Fletch, can you? Also, I start watching Christmas Vacation right after Halloween and into New Years~ All time favorite Christmas movie!
4. Steve Martin - everything he does! I am dying to see "It's Complicated".
5. Vince Vaughn - Wedding Crashers is a classic. I cannot wait to see Couple's Retreat.

Who is on your list?
