Rio to Host 2016 Olympic Games

Rio De Janeiro will host the 2016 Olympic Games. What an exciting city! I was lucky enough to travel for a month to Brazil and Argentina on a college trip (many years ago). One of the most memorable moments was climbing up to the Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking the city. The statue is 130 feet tall and weighs 700 tonnes. It on the peak of the Corcovado mountain, 700 metres above the city of Rio de Janeiro. After 9 years of construction, it was completed in 1931.

U2 Concert Rocked Charlottesville

Wow... U2 rocked the University of Virginia's Scott Stadium last night into orbit with their 360 degrees tour! The incredible line up including Elevation, Beautiful Day, One, Walk On, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Magnificent, Where the Streets Have No Name, was amazing!! I was breathless being that close

to one of the most influential bands in the world.

Bedrooms top the list when it comes to teenager’s personal space. While designing spaces for teens, colors and layout hold much importance. The Italian furniture company, Clever seems to have their combinations right with their terrific showcase of rooms for teens. Most of these rooms use white as the base with one main bright color thrown in. Barring the couple of ones in pink the rest sport a unisex theme.[via]
